Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Attempting to destroy our sovereignty through illegal border crossings. Unlawfulness. Economic burden. Attacks on women’s rights in sports. Pardoning murders and criminal family members. Degrading our military and hence our national security. Law-fare against its political opponents.

This is today’s Democratic Party. A Democratic president who awards a Presidential Medal of Freedom to George Soros, a billionaire who has spent multimillions of dollars on progressive movements trying to undermine our democracy and our way of life. Someone that I believe most Americans would consider an enemy to democracy and the Republic.

Promoting sexual reassignment surgery to “children” and promoting drag queens to our school-age children. Mandating the use of “pronouns” by 99 percent of the population for 1 percent of the population. An administration that lied to the country day after day regarding Biden’s cognitive decline and his ability to lead, only to have those lies reinforced by the left-wing media that has been more of a source of propaganda than accurate news reporting. A Democrat administration that had the media label the truth as misinformation.

Now, as they leave the White House, we have an administration and party that continues to poke the American people in the eye with attempts to slow or prohibit America moving forward with their failed leftist policies. We are witnessing every day the self-serving destruction of the country by the Democratic Party by trying to block Trump, but they will fail, just as they have failed the nation.

I pray that Jan. 20 will be the beginning of cleaning up the mess created by the Democratic Party of the last four years and hopefully a full cleansing of our government agencies and politicians tainted by these so-called “progressives.” In politics, “progressive” is code for “socialist.” If this is going to continue to be what the Democratic Party represents, I hope they never get close to the White House again.

Liberal ideology is, and has been, destroying the country and it’s time to end it. Last November a clear majority of Americans voted for common sense to prevail over this destructive and immoral agenda.

Give me a political party any day is to “Make America Great,” and God bless our returning president, because this country really needs a strong leader, now more than ever!
