These days you have a hard time finding people that are interested in giving of themselves. We are blessed to live in a county that has many people like that. There are two people that we would like to recognize for their kindness and generosity.

Ralph and Mary Valdrighi have been such a support to our community, helping in so many ways, some that we are sure we know nothing about. They have helped many groups and organizations, churches, MHS After Prom, fundraisers for individuals in need, the Boys and Girls Club, Rotary Club, Mathews Volunteer Fire Department and the Ladies Auxiliary to the Mathews Volunteer Fire Department, just to name a few … no way to name them all.
