My name is Mark Hawkins, an employee of the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, and I’m asking for your support for Sheriff Darrell Warren in Tuesday’s Republican primary election. I support Sheriff Warren not out of a sense of obligation, or duty to our friendship, but because of the professionalism, integrity and devotion to the office that he has consistently displayed. Since my joining the sheriff’s office in 1996, I have witnessed Darrell tackle and excel at key leadership positions within the agency, leaving each of these positions better than he found it.

In his time as a patrol sergeant and lieutenant, I saw Darrell perform admirably in serving the needs of the public. He was always fair and honest. He displayed sound judgment and professionalism in the midst of situations that were often stressful and volatile.
