Editor, Gazette-Journal:
I am voting strictly Republican: Earle-Sears for Governor, Reid for Lt. Governor, Miyares for Attorney General and Hodges for House of Delegates. These are engaged, caring, and experienced common-sense professionals who will build upon Governor Youngkin’s outstanding success.
Under their leadership Virginians will thrive economically, will be protected by law enforcement, and fight to keep nonsense out of our schools and sports. Their resolve to keep their promises will be unwavering.
On the other hand, there are some valid reasons for Virginians not to vote for Abigail Spanberger or any other Democrat in this election. The Democratic Party has no leader, no published platform, an obvious hatred of President Trump and a disdain for America “as we know it.” It never explained why it invited over 20 million people to illegally pass over our borders into the United States during the Biden presidency.
It is creating mass chaos, breaking numerous laws, and getting citizens and law enforcement killed in its quest to keep these non-citizens in this country. Sanctuary cities drain our economy while Democrats like Senator Kaine deny their existence in the state of Virginia. The illegals are among us, and we are paying a hefty price for their presence.
Virginia must not become another California, Oregon or Illinois. Jay Jones’s recent online heinous threats are very representative of the feelings on most Democrat candidates: the fact that the Democratic Party did not demand his withdrawal from the race is very “telling.” Mr. Jones demonstrated his lack of common sense. His feelings undoubtedly pervade the Democratic Party.
Ms. Spanberger offers no solutions to the deep morasses the Democratic Party imposed on this country. Worse, she will support the further imposition of heinous ideology on our children. The last Virginia Democrat governor endorsed the destruction of Monument Avenue in Richmond. There are many “negatives” about the Democratic Party.
Vote for Common Sense, The American Way and for Love. Vote Republican.
