Mathews voters, if you carefully consider the qualifications of candidates for School Board you will conclude that Dr. Bambi Thompson is the clear choice for one of the two seats. 

As a board member, Dr. Thompson will bring a rich and respected background in public education which will enable her to quickly assist the school division grapple the diverse issues it faces.  I have known Bambi Thompson more than 25 years—professionally and personally—and her heart has always been with children—her students, the staff who serve them, her own children and grandchildren.

Our Mathews children deserve the best opportunities we can provide from strong 3 and 4 year-old programs to 21st century vocational skills. She will support our teachers and ancillary staff while furthering a strong working relationship between the community and the board.
