Recent events have put the ruling Mullahs of Iran in a no-win situation. The rulers of Iran have a seething hatred of the Jews and want them all dead at any cost. It is certain their aim in developing a nuclear weapon was to achieve this goal.
President Trump gave them 60 days to work out a deal where they get rid of their centrifuges and nuclear ambitions in exchange for their ability to trade openly and for their society to prosper. That was the carrot. The stick was if they didn’t agree to a deal, Israel would remove all their ability to build a bomb by force and kill most of their leadership and their nuclear scientists.
They let the time expire with no deal and on day 61 Israel unleashed a devastating attack that had obviously been in planning for a long time.
