Letter: Tools to improve literacy

From all of us at Literacy Volunteers of Gloucester, we wish to thank the Advisory Board of the Gloucester Community Foundation for their generous grant of $1,417.75. Through their generosity, LVG can continue to help members of the community who struggle to read at an adult level or want to earn their GED. We provide, free of charge: computer training, teaching of new job skills, tutoring to prepare for the GED and ESOL classes.

We are a volunteer organization dedicated to equipping adults with the skills needed to be successful in their daily lives with private tutoring and group classes. And, as a volunteer organization, we are especially grateful for the kind and generous gift from the Gloucester Community Foundation. This generous grant allows LVG to continue to serve the needs of Gloucester!
