It’s that time of year again; yes, I’m referring to Christmas.
To help everyone get into the spirit of the holiday, we at Newington Baptist Church are performing a Christmas cantata directed by our wonderful choir teacher, Heather King, called “On This Night.”
It will teach you why we came to celebrate Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, through the songs you will hear us sing. I’m going to be one of the singers in it, singing my heart out with pride and joy.
The Christmas cantata will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, December 18, during our worship service. We gladly welcome you all to come on out and enjoy the cantata.
