Letter: Threats everywhere

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

We are in a place where we must analyze the truth within our two political parties. It is imperative to tune out the rhetoric on each side and look at where we are today. Are we happy with the economy, open borders, crime, CRT in our schools, blaming racism on every issue, or not taking care of our vets and the homeless in many cities across our country?

While I can see the evil that is in control of our government today, I can’t expect everyone to agree with me. I am only asking the citizens of America to follow the facts and determine the correct course to take in our upcoming election. Do we need a change?

There are so many threats, not only within our republic, but globally. I feel a deep need to look at the decisions that have been made by our president since taking office in 2021: Are we happy with his withdrawal from Afghanistan and the promises he made to the American people, as well as our allies, to bring them home safely?
