Dr. Bambi Thompson is highly qualified to serve the citizens of Mathews County and should be elected to your school board in the upcoming election on Nov. 7. Voting for Bambi will be a vote for the betterment of your schools and the division.

Dr. Thompson has an extraordinary educational background, having experienced many aspects of teaching and administration. She has taught in the classroom, served as coach/instructor for the Virginia Department of Education and, most recently before retiring, was principal at Botetourt Elementary School in Gloucester.

Dr. Thompson advocates for effective administrators/teachers; technology-enhanced instruction for K-12; preschool programs for 3- and 4-year-olds; effective use of allocated funds; collaborative problem solving; and a positive working relationship among board members, community members and school personnel.
