I am writing in support of Tara Thomas, candidate for the County Treasurer’s position.

I have known Ms. Thomas since our arrival in Gloucester in 2003. She is an excellent County Treasurer, as exemplified by her receipt of 2016 Treasurers’ Association of Virginia Commonwealth Award and other similar awards. Tara has always been personable, helpful, and professional in the performance of her duties as County Treasurer. Whenever I have a question, she has been most gracious in seeking to provide answers. Her integrity, faithfulness to the duties of her office, and her constant pursuit of excellence are more than adequate reasons for her re-election to this position. In addition, Ms. Thomas has been involved and active in activities and programs that benefit the quality of life in our county that go beyond the duties of her office.
