I am writing in support of Tara Thomas for Treasurer of Gloucester County. When Tara was elected as Treasurer almost 20 years ago, the first change that got my attention was making my tax checks payable to Gloucester County rather than an individual. That was a big deal to me.

Tara continued to make improvements to the Treasurer’s Office by getting her staff certified and her department accredited. Tara has a CPA on staff, if needed, and keeps up to date with participation and leadership roles in professional associations. Tara Thomas has made the Gloucester County Treasurer’s Office professional, efficient and service oriented.

A bonus to Gloucester County residents is Tara’s commitment to her community. She works with the Guinea Jubilee Committee to broaden the preservation and celebration of the Guinea heritage.
