In response to the “Don’t be complicit” letter (May 29 Readers Write) I have to say that I’m a conservative, not a Trumper. I voted Libertarian in the last election because Trump is not a conservative. Kamala Harris is wholly unqualified.
The gift of the luxury jet from Qatar stinks. The crypto deal is above my knowledge level, and it, too, stinks. As does using the White House to sell dinners and tours for personal advancement. So far, we agree.
About Elon Musk and DOGE. It’s past time that someone took an axe to the reckless, politically motivated spending that Congress, and the Congressional Budget Office, have ignored for too long.
To his claimed illegal deportation. The Biden administration allowed over 11 million illegals to stroll across our border and disappear into the nation. Liberal cities welcomed this. Now they’re overwhelmed with illegals living on the public dole, many committing crimes. I have no problem with deporting them.
