Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Being born and raised in the United States of America is a great gift. There is not or never has there been another country to compare with America. We love our flag and all it stands for and have always been glad to protect and support it. Because of the freedom we have enjoyed living in this "land of the free and home of the brave," we have been able to defend our beliefs.

This election is not a fight between Democrats and Republicans. For one thing, the old Democratic Party as we have known it is no longer in power. It doesn’t exist. It has been taken over by a socialist regime that has no patriotism and no respect for our Constitution. This election is a fight for our freedom and our government that is "for the people, by the people" and shall not perish from this earth.

Think about what we will face if we give in to these anti-American politics. Explain to our young people who have not lived in our history what this will mean. God bless our p...
