I have a super amazing friend, Ray, who goes to Newington Baptist Church with me. He started coming in January 2021. It’s my absolute favorite moment when I met him for the first time; now he is my best friend in the whole world.

I feel very blessed and thank God for placing him in my life as my brother. I always feel comfortable talking to him on just about anything, when we hang out together after church. I’m so grateful and really appreciate the things that he does for me.

One Sunday in March last year, when we were sitting outside after church on the low wall waiting for my stepdad Tony to pick me up, we talked for an hour and a half. As I was about to leave he surprised me with a super-cool toy car. On my 38th birthday in October, he surprised me by coming over to my house for the first time to celebrate.
