This is a letter of appreciation for the 20 years of service that Jack Gill has given to Mathews County as its Commonwealth’s Attorney. Though Jack is a dear friend and I have known him for over 40 years, my support for him in every election has been based on his outstanding performance in that position. Ask anyone who has firsthand knowledge of him in that capacity and you will hear of his unquestionable integrity, his knowledge, recall and application of the law, his compassion for the victims he serves, and his determination to achieve justice in each and every case he brings before the court.
