For 30 years, Peggy Hudgins has volunteered to organize and oversee the Christmas Store. Mathews County Department of Social Services would like to recognize and thank her for making Christmas special for so many families over the years. Additionally, we would like to welcome and thank Bernadette La Casse for coordinating the Christmas Store this year and for years to come.

Without the donations and contributions of the many individuals, churches, civic and community organizations, the Christmas Store would not be possible to assist the numerous families who benefit from receiving gifts to celebrate the season. Many citizens volunteered with setting up, working in the store and cleaning up when it was over.
