As chairman of the 2024 May Faire festival, I would like to thank Mathews County and the surrounding areas for the support they showed us this year.

Above all I want to thank the museum committee for all the support they gave me during my broken leg recovery.

A special thanks to Melody Barnes and her darling Maypole dancers for entertaining us.

Each year we focus on some aspect of Mathews County’s rich history. We try each year to be better than the year before, and I hope we succeeded this year in doing that.
