Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 58 recently held our “Forget-Me-Not” fundraiser. All money collected from our drives goes directly to our local disabled veterans in the community.

We wish to thank Lowe’s of Gloucester for their support, Walmart Supercenter, Gloucester Point ABC Store, Farm Fresh of Hayes and Best Value in Mathews for allowing us the gracious opportunity to set up at their locations.

To all of our members who volunteered their time, I am honored to work next to you. My sincere gratitude and heartfelt thanks to everyone in our community who gave money to support our veterans.

Without you, it would not be possible to help so many.
