Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The members of the General Anthony Wayne Chapter 58 of the Disabled American Veterans would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the men, women and children on the Middle Peninsula who so graciously donated their hard-earned money at our annual fund drive, the For Get Me Not fund drive.

We know that during these tough economic times that any money donated was given from the heart. It has always given our chapter members pause to appreciate how giving and thoughtful the people of the Middle Peninsula can be.

We just want all to know who donated money that 100 percent of the money raised this past weekend will be used for service to disabled veterans.

Again, a heartfelt Thank You for your generosity.
