Letter: Thanks for supporting Adult Literacy

Adult Literacy on the Middle Peninsula, Inc., wishes to thank the many people who participated in the Christmas Stocking Boutique held in November and December at The Courthouse Restaurant.  

This season there were many more stockings from all types of crafts people. To those who sewed, knitted, crocheted and worked in stained-glass medium, we thank you for sharing your time and talents so that Adult Literacy is able to continue serving the adults in the communities who ask for literacy services. Congratulations to Rachael Rhea the top fundraiser and to G. Gomez who crafted the winning stocking.

A special thanks to those of you who deposited your change in the “jar” and, of course, all our success in this fundraising event is not possible without the consistent support of Kim and Doug Hibbs who made it possible for Adult Literacy to raise $300.
