Letter: Thanks for quick action

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

On a sunny, pleasant morning in June 2012, my family and I stopped at a Hardee’s for breakfast in Gloucester.

All of a sudden, a man walked in and punched the manager (a female) in the face with fist and then head butted her, breaking her glasses and her nose was bleeding badly! As we looked on in horror and fright, suddenly another man stepped in and stopped the man’s assault instantly, not knowing if he was armed or not.

We would like to say thank you to Mr. Steven Ray Osborn, who is a disabled American veteran (U.S. Army) for his strength and courage and will that morning in a very dangerous situation, keeping us all safe until the police arrived.
