Letter: Thankful for so much

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I’m grateful for my always caring and helpful Phillips, Nix and Deitz, and other Horn Harbor neighbors, that I can call on and often do, if only to visit.

I’m grateful for my Lab GiGi, Shih Tzu Willa and rescued kitty Mandy that welcome me home with great exuberance—they always make me get up  and out for a walk when I feel down.

I’m grateful for my Gloucester Greg and Joyce Crawford families, when all else fails they come running. They help take care of my yard, gutters, carport and helped me learn how to program and use my new smartphone-for-dummies.

I’m grateful for the ladies that prepare the food for our Meals on Wheels, for all our new friends that we serve, worry about and care for. I’m grateful at my age I can still do something for others; that makes me feel useful and good.
