Editor, Gazette-Journal:

In July, I had major surgery and recuperated at the home of friends in Gloucester. Physical therapy was necessary, and I was so excited to hear about Bay Transit’s service of actually picking individuals up at their door and taking them to their destination.

Not only was the service good, but meeting the bus driver, Ann Crabtree, was one of the highlights of my month in Gloucester. She’s caring and professional—a rare combination these days!

This letter is somewhat late in reaching you. After returning to Williamsburg after my stay in Gloucester, I returned to work and had lots of catching up to do.

I am thankful for Bay Transit and think it is a great asset to Gloucester. They are very fortunate to have as fine a team player as Ann Crabtree.
