As Clean Community Coordinator for Gloucester County, I wanted to thank everyone that helped us have such a successful year. Thank you for the large turnout that supported the 2017 Clean Community Day and increasing the recycle rate across the county.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who continue your cleanups around the county throughout the year, not only on Clean Gloucester Day. These groups collected 867 bags of trash during 2016. This did not include what was collected during the 2016 Clean Gloucester Day. Thank you for volunteering your time and energy to this endeavor.

Also, thank you to all of you who have done your part in recycling. Check out the Gloucester County Clean Community website: www.gloucesterva.info/CleanCommunity/Recycling for items that can and cannot be recycled. With your continued support, we may be able to increase our recycle rate even more in the future.

I am sorry to say that my last day was April 28. I do hope you will give the new Clean Community Coordinator the same tireless support I have enjoyed during my tenure.
