Letter: Taylor for Congress

Editor, Gazette-Journal: Rob Wittman’s recent ad on Richmond TV really surprised me:

No mention that he cast 60 votes to kill the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) until he finally figured out that lots of his voters depend on and like it so he voted to keep it on his last vote. No mention of the “One Big Beautiful Bill” and the other votes to cut taxes for the rich. The “trickle-down theory” went the way of the dinosaurs with Wittman still running after it. No mention of his constant votes for military intervention and huge Pentagon budgets or any connection this has to the money he has received from the military-industrial complex and its huge no-bid contracts over the years. No mention of the fragile health of the Chesapeake Bay. Wittman, with a degree in environmental science, should have some ideas for keeping it healthy.
