Regarding Ted Williams’ letter to the editor ("Renewable energy development a pipe dream," July 12 Readers Write), I am not a politician, neither am I wealthy nor do I particularly want to be wealthy. I do, however, want clean water to drink, healthy soil to grow healthy food and air to breathe that does not disease my lungs.
I do not feel I will have these basics for life with a lot of people like Ted Williams around. I cannot help but wonder who he works for—Dick Cheney or Halliburton maybe. I also wonder how he is so sure what Virginia has that we cannot see. We have the sunshine. He is right about that.
