As a member of the advisory committee for broadband, I urge each household within the County of Mathews to go online to mathewscountyva.gov/bbsurvey and answer the questions posed there.

If you need help or cannot connect on your device at your home or business, please pick up a paper copy of the survey from one of the following locations: Chesapeake Bank, Mathews Active Lifestyle Center, the Mathews Memorial Library or the Treasurer’s Office. We need this for our children’s education, to improve medical treatment and monitoring, law enforcement, business and economic development, and community communications.

Members of the Advisory Board will be available to help on these survey days: Saturday, Nov. 30 (Made in Mathews weekend, at various parking lots) and Saturday, Dec. 14 (Mathews Christmas Parade, at various parking lots).
