Our Donk’s family has been overwhelmed with messages, texts, e-mails, Facebook posts, calls, etc., from those of you who share in our shock and grief over the loss of Donk’s Theater. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your gentle kindness. We are also grateful to have received so many offers from folks wanting to help. Thanks to:

—Mathews School Board/Mathews High School for agreeing to let us use the Harry M. Ward Auditorium for our shows this year!

—WXGM-FM 99.1 Radio for offering to pay our rent to MHS for the year!

—West Mathews Community League for offering the Peninsula School auditorium for our rehearsals rent free!

—John and William Bodurtha and Charlie Carter (and crews) for painstakingly removing some of our precious mementoes from the rubble!

—The many contributors for lovingly and without hesitation giving of your time and money to help us rebuild what we have lost in equipment!
