Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I joined a group of clean community members along with a large group of citizens picking up trash Saturday morning. I’ve done this in past but first time in a few years. Nothing has changed. We still have too many people who don’t care.

I applaud Mrs. Moring and her committee for their efforts. We just need Gloucester citizens to take pride in their county and quit throwing trash from your vehicles. This is easy to fix but it starts with each and every person. A big thanks for those who labored in the hot sun Saturday. We put a dent in the problem.
