Editor, Gazette-Journal: The recent brouhaha in Pennsylvania over “two measles deaths” appears to have been a political stunt made to stoke fear reminiscent of the intense reporting of COVID-19 deaths a few years ago. Big Pharma and Democrats seem to have no ethics and no shame. Measles deaths among healthy, well-nourished populations are almost non-existent and have continually diminished almost since the beginning of the 20th Century. The local coroner denied there even were any “Measles” deaths. Democrats and the pharmaceutical industry were caught trying to gin up more vaccine “uptake” (sales) while discrediting Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the Secretary of Health and Human Services, who is supporting actual science where the risks, as well as the benefits, of vaccines like the MMR vaccine are being studied.
