Regarding Barbara Sampson’s letter in last week’s paper (“Logo doesn’t represent county as a whole,” Feb. 4 Reader’s Write), I concur. Thank you, Barbara.
I remember being really stunned seeing the front-page announcement in the Jan. 28 issue of the Gazette-Journal stating the logo was a done deal. Shame on you, our board of supervisors—you should have known better.
Where did that logo come from and why didn’t we all get a say before the decision was made? What about all the prior work done in this county by come heres and from heres? I believe this logo needs to be withdrawn and go in a different direction with input from all who desire to give their opinion, and not just from a tourism perspective.
