Letter: Sheila knows how to get things done

I have great news to share with my fellow District 98 community. Mathews resident Sheila Crowley has officially launched her campaign to represent us in the Virginia House of Delegates. This is great news because Sheila knows how to get things done and she has a lifetime of working to help people with the greatest needs to prove it.

Sheila Crowley has a PhD in Social Work from VCU and spent two decades in Richmond working with organizations that focus on homeless services, family housing, housing for people with disabilities, senior housing, and services to battered women and victims of rape. She sees a need and works tirelessly to find a solution.

Sheila’s experience and a history of success is just what we need in Richmond. She recently retired after 17 years as president and CEO of the National Low Income Housing Coalition and she has received numerous national awards for her work.
