Editor, Gazette-Journal: This is in reference to the article in the Oct. 13 edition of the Gazette-Journal, titled “Anti-bullying talk soon focuses on Gloucester School board itself.” It is truly disgusting that government officials who are responsible for the education of our children would stoop to the same level of behavior as those children, in a meeting to vote on anti-bullying proclamation. This is the worst form of hypocrisy there is. This “do as I say, not as I do” behavior is permeating throughout all levels of government across the country. “We the people” is being replaced with a form of Nazi police state. The fact that an FOIA request on the closed door meeting was denied confirms this. What is the school board hiding from the public? Perhaps the citizens of Gloucester should collect signatures on a petition to demand the resignation of the board members who are guilty of the bullying behavior. Larry FritzGloucester, Va....
