Letter: Saying goodbye to Page Middle School

I assume by the time this hits the press, the wrecking ball will be in action. What remains of Page Middle School will be reduced to rubble. My desire was to build a new wing and modernize/upgrade what remained from the tornado. A lot of citizens felt likewise when this was discussed throughout 2011. This was one of the viable options. The cons outweighed the pros and the decision was made to build a new school nearby. The tornado certainly changed the landscape and impacted lives. Hopefully Gloucester County will never have that experience again.

I’m sure if you attended GHS during the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, you have special memories of your high school days. I recall the great basketball and football games.
