Letter: Road trip

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I think I have told many of my patients individually about my yearlong adventure with my daughter, which begins June 15, 2022. I want to reassure you that I will be back in the office starting Aug. 1, 2023. My schedule for that first month already is full.

This truly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I know I would regret it if I did not do this. The timing is right as my daughter will be in fourth grade when we travel. As a person of deep faith, I’m also looking at this time away from work as a spiritual calling to rest and recharge, as well as invest in the education and spiritual development of my daughter as we experience this beautiful country and make memories together.
