Editor, Gazette Journal:

I thought last week’s editorial (“Leaving its mark”) was well done. The current board was faced with some tough issues/decisions and whether you agree with their choices, votes were taken and life goes on.

The only comment I have regarding the current board is communication. Three of the supervisors (Orth, James and Chriscoe) are very good about responding to e-mails. The other four rarely do. During my time on the board I prided myself on acknowledging e-mails, phone calls, etc., as soon as possible. I did this regardless of the person’s district or other affiliation. I think this is one of your primary responsibilities as a board member.

I’ve been in their shoes and understand the demands on their time but just a quick acknowledgment would go a long way with the citizens. No sweat though, they won’t need to worry about any more emails from yours truly.
