Letter: Remembering a friend

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Kendall Gleason was a neighbor and friend for many years. We were swimming buddies, plus she was my electronic go-to person many times. We shared many trips, laughter and even sad times.

Her obituary in the Oct. 3 issue of the Gazette-Journal neglected to mention Kendall’s employment with Curves and the United States Postal Service. These occupations were not listed in her obituary due to lack of information as to dates of service in order to be published in a timely manner in the local paper. So many people in the local area depended on Kendall for her overall kindness to all creatures, great and small.

We will all miss her for many reasons, but most of all for being a friend to all of us who had any contact with her.
