Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I write to ask the voters of Petsworth District to reelect Mrs. Anita Parker as their representative on the Gloucester County School Board. The citizens of Petsworth District have been well served by Anita’s commitment to their children’s schools, their children’s teachers, and the quality of the education they are provided. Anita Parker is a principled, caring individual who makes decisions she believes to be in the best interest of our school system and the young people who walk through those doors each day.

I have personally known and worked with Anita for more than twenty years. Her three sons attended Peasley Middle School where I was honored to serve as principal. At Peasley, we strove to make school a place adolescents liked to come and knew people cared for them. Part of that formula required the participation of parents. Anita was one of those. She supported her sons, supported their teachers, and supported the school program in uncounted ways.
