Letter: Reasons to weep

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Here are some reasons that we, as Americans, have to weep:

We have a president that puts himself, money and power before country. His “America First” was just a cover for his “Me First.”

We have president who talks out of both sides of his mouth. He can look the American people in the eye and lie to us.

We have a president that is turning his back on our allies—the G7 and NATO, showing them no respect while praising our adversaries.

We have a president that expects loyalty and praise from the very people whose salaries, health care and retirement that we pay for with our tax dollars. Where are the patriots?

We have congressional Trumplicans that are now “Trump First.” They are in Washington to serve him over their constituents.

There is no transparency with this president and his administration. A perfect example is his meeting with Putin on July 16. No aides allowed, no note taking, only interpreters.
