Several times in the past week, I have noticed a small blue Ford truck parked at several locations around Gloucester with two, "Vote for Graham Blake" banners on this vehicle. Over the past month, Mr. Blake has been seen putting up his political signs while driving this vehicle and going door to door for his campaign.
I also noticed that his vehicle displays "Farm Use" tags on it. I thought: Can Mr. Blake use his "Farm Use" vehicle for political purposes? After looking on the internet under Virginia law on "Farm Use" tags, I found some very interesting information on this matter.
Virginia law stated that the vehicle bearing "Farm Use" tags must have a vehicle gross weight (G.W.) of 7,500 pounds. I wonder how a small Ford truck has a G.W. of 7,500 pounds!
