Inclement weather caused cancellation of our planned Dec. 10 Open House, but the Gloucester Woman’s Club will hold its fourth annual Open House this coming Sunday (Dec. 16) at Edge Hill House on Gloucester’s Main Street from 1 to 5 p.m. 

Our mission is to maintain this local treasure for our community to enjoy. We have cooked and decorated to bring happiness and celebration of our county’s heritage. Be our guests and visit.

We have much to celebrate. The 1750s building looks its best at this time of year with holiday greens and wassail scenting the air. Following Virginia tradition we have oysters and other treats and seasonal music to share. If you have never visited our clubhouse, once a store and blacksmith shop, please come.
