Letter: Property rights at stake

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I recall over the past several years, on four separate occasions, the Concerned Citizens of the Middle Peninsula has sponsored speaking events to alert and inform local citizens of the threat posed to their property rights by environmental extremism. The last such event occurred just this past March at the Lighthouse Worship Center on Route 17 in Gloucester, the prior events were all in Mathews County.

This election portends the culmination of those efforts to alert and inform the citizens in regards to property rights. It has been said, “A people deserve the government they elect.” Let there be no doubt, property rights is an issue in this election. If the threat is not acknowledged in the coming election, rest assured it will be recognized upon the loss of our property rights. Get out and vote for honest representation.
