On Mother’s Day weekend, the Mathews Family YMCA hosted our annual Bluegrass and BBQ Bash and saw a record attendance with about 160 folks supporting a great cause while also having a great time. The food was plentiful and delicious. All the while, Last Minute Grass with Ralph Motley entertained us.

We were blessed by the generosity of so many, whom we thank. To our sponsors, and the many merchants, locally and across the state, who donated items for both our live and silent auctions, thank you. To Ann Foster at Kingston Plantation for providing an exquisite setting, thank you. To the YMCA Board, volunteers and staff for knocking on the doors of our merchants for auction items and sponsors, for setup and cleanup, for all the behind-the-scenes work, for promoting the Y so enthusiastically, thank you.
