The Electoral Board of Mathews wants to thank all our wonderful friends and neighbors for already voting in the Nov. 3 general election. When you read this, our county will have voted nearly 50 percent of registered voters in Mathews.

We very much appreciate the cooperation and manner in which you have conducted yourselves. We have made a very large change in our citizen’s ability to vote and the change has been accepted with gratitude. You have expressed appreciation for the ease you are now able to vote. One good thing the pandemic has brought us was the funds necessary to bring about the move to the other constitutional offices on Buckley Hall Road.

The Electoral Board is counting on you to again extend courtesies to our Election Officials and poll workers on Election Day. Being pleasant and respectful is what we in Mathews are known for.
