Letter: Praise for Mathews NAACP

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Mathews County chapter of the NAACP for the COVID-19 vaccination clinics that were provided to citizens ages 65 and older.

Thank you for all of your efforts in assisting with access to this vaccine that helps to save lives as well as limit exposure to this virus. I am appreciative of your dedication to work with state and local agencies to bring this task to fruition.

The Mathews County chapter of the NAACP serves this community with pride and compassion. I am grateful for the work exhibited by the NAACP chapter of Mathews County, Virginia, for helping us to tackle COVID-19 in our community.

Please continue your efforts with this endeavor.
