The election of qualified and experienced school board members is an important responsibility for all citizens of Gloucester County. The school board represents the views of residents and has the same type of duties as the county board of supervisors for approximately 50 percent of the county budget and for assuring the quality education of nearly 5,000 students.

Anita Parker has a history of successfully carrying out the duties of Petsworth District school board member and is seeking your support to continue her service on the board.

Anita Parker has been on the board 16 years and has been the chair and vice chair for 6 terms total as well as currently being a member of five board committees.
