I am writing this letter to express my appreciation for all of the support residents of Mathews and Gloucester counties gave to support our recent Meals on Wheels fundraiser held in November. This fundraiser helps supplement the Mathews County Meals on Wheels Program for food preparation expenses.

We are always overwhelmed with the generosity shown through this fundraiser. This fundraiser helps us provide good quality meals to our patrons and, without your support, this would not be possible.

I would also like to mention our volunteers. Laura Matthews does a wonderful job coordinating these volunteers and they are a huge part of our success. Without these volunteers this program would not be possible. It is a pleasure to interact with each of them as they stop by to pick up their meals for delivery. Rain or shine they are always ready and willing. We love having you enter our building on a daily basis to help us carry out our mission.
