We are writing in support of Dr. Robert “JJ” Orth for the Abingdon District seat on the Gloucester Board of Supervisors. He is seeking reelection after serving for the past 11 years.

JJ has been our neighbor for 23 years and has served as president of the Ladysmeade Neighborhood Road Association for many of those years. JJ’s interest in the safety and well-being of his neighbors serves as an example of his dedication to not only his community, but to the citizens of this county.

Supporting Gloucester County’s educators, schools and first responders are among the many reasons we support JJ. He supports controlled and managed growth for our county while also encouraging small business development. It is important to us that our county continues to provide resources, services, jobs and opportunities for future generations and JJ is the right candidate who will help promote these ideas.

JJ is honest, trustworthy and dedicated to the citizens of Gloucester and will continue to serve our county with integrity, which is why we encourage you to consider voting for JJ Orth this November.
