Letter: Obvious bias and imbalance

As I read this week’s Washington Merry-Go-Round column by Eleanor Clift and Douglas Cohn titled “American Wave Theory,” it became clear that this was, in fact, just a progressive theory!

Without re-reading any of this article, I’ll simply say that the writers determined that President Franklin Roosevelt’s “New Deal” was a Wonderful Wave and the Republican resurgence, starting with Newt Gingrich, was a Terrible Wave. The article went on to denounce almost everything about President Trump, including his past and future picks for the Supreme Court. Therefore, the writers implored the masses to unite and resist!

Last week’s article made the case that Republicans don’t embrace immigrants. The week before that, they suggested that it’s mostly Republican politicians that benefit from self-serving perks.
